About the Scholarship

The Sullivan Scholarship covers tuition, housing, food and fees for four years at Seattle University, and goes to two students a year.

What makes it reachable from abroad is the eligibility route. Rather than a nationality rule, it turns on attending a Jesuit or Catholic secondary school, in the United States or anywhere else, and the university states plainly that it is open to both domestic and international students.

Competition is severe at two awards a year. Candidates typically hold an unweighted grade average of 3.7 or above with a record of leadership, service and global engagement. Submitting the Common Application by 15 January is the first step, after which eligible students are invited to apply further.
