About the Scholarship

The Achievement Scholarship is the middle band of Texas State University's guaranteed merit grid, paying $6,000 to $8,000 a year for four years.

The grid pairs test scores with class rank, so a lower score can still reach $8,000 with a top 5 per cent rank. International students qualify on the same published terms as Texas residents.

Renewal needs a 3.25 grade average and 28 credit hours a year.
