The University of Tennessee pays incoming international first-year students $3,000 to $18,000 a year for four years, set by a grid of grade average against test score. At the top that is $72,000 across a degree.
The entry bar is high for a public university award: a 3.8 converted weighted core average is the floor, and the top band needs a 4.0 with an ACT of 34.
Two dates matter and they are not the same one. Test scores must reach the university by 1 April and the admission application by 1 May. The award also cannot be combined with the university's Global Ambassador Scholarship, so a student who qualifies for both takes one.
