About the Scholarship

The Benedict Scholarship pays full tuition, fees, room and board at Sewanee, and two are awarded each year. It sits just below the single Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship in the same academic review.

There is no separate application. Sewanee considers every applicant for academic scholarships on the strength of the Common Application and the required admission documents, and international applicants are included in that review once their financial documents are in.

The award renews while you maintain satisfactory academic progress. It covers direct costs only, so plan for books, health insurance, travel and personal spending on top.
