The Coyote Beginnings Grant pays $1,500 to $2,500 a year to first-time first-year students at the University of South Dakota who arrive with a qualifying SAT or ACT score.
It stacks with the Coyote Beginnings Scholarship, so a student holding both can approach half of tuition. Assessment is automatic from the admission application, with full consideration for applications received by 1 June for autumn entry and 1 October for spring.
