Valparaiso University
The Leadership Award is Valparaiso University's newest band, paying $25,000 a year for a grade average between 2.8 and 2.99.
It did not exist in the university's earlier tables, so it extends its merit ladder downward: a student below a 3.0 average now receives $25,000 where previously they would have fallen off the table entirely.
As with every band here, international students receive the same amount as domestic applicants.
