Overview of Harvard Model United Nations China
HMUN was founded on the mission to encourage high school students around the world to engage in meaningful debate on current and emerging issues around the world. Through the committee topics that we set for the delegates, we foster both creative and collaborative solutions that delegates create through their active discussions in and out of debate. Model UN is not only an avenue of debate, but also a forum for active discussion with ideas brought in from around the world. Each year, we welcome delegates from a number of countries around the world to come and bring their perspectives on actively ongoing issues around the world, allowing for even more creative solutions to form during committee sessions.

💸 Costs & Aid
- 550 USD
- Delegate fees are 3980 RMB for Chinese domestic applicants and 550 USD for all other applicants. Faculty advisor fees are 1500 RMB for Chinese domestic and 200 USD for all else. Registration fees do not include hotel fees or any meals.
- The HMUN China 2025 Secretariat offers a financial aid program which provides fee waivers for accepted applicants. Financial aid is not guaranteed.
Eligibility Requirements
📋 General Requirements
Students are recommended to be accompanied by a faculty advisor. College students are not eligible to apply as a delegate.
👥 Age Requirements
Applicants must be 13 years of age or older.
📚 Grade Requirements
Applicants must be enrolled in 7th - 12th grade during the time of the conference.
