Eligibility Requirements

📋 General Requirements

To participate in the IBO, students must win their National Biology Olympiad (NBO) competition and be selected to represent their country or region internationally. Participants should be students of a regular secondary school for general education. Home-schooled students and most students from international schools are not eligible. Nationality does not play a role in determining eligibility; it is based on attending a regular school in an IBO member country/region.

Application Process
