The International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) is an annual academic competition for high school students. Its aim is to promote friendship and cooperation among young scientific workers, and to facilitate the exchange of pedagogical and scientific experience. The competition consists of both theoretical and experimental parts. Participation is decided at the national level, with each country selecting a team of four students through national competitions.

About the Program
Eligibility
Participants must be students of secondary school without a special chemical specialization. They must be passport holders of the country they represent. Competitors must be under 20 years of age on July 1st of the year of the competition. Participants must be at the secondary school level.
