The British Psychology Olympiad (BPO) is an online psychology competition for secondary school students in Years 9-12 from the UK and internationally. The competition runs across three rounds: Round 1 is a 90-minute multiple choice quiz, Round 2 features open-ended psychology questions, and Round 3 is an essay submission. Students are awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze certificates based on percentile rankings (top 10%, 10-30%, and 30-60% respectively), with Champion, Second Place, and Third Place titles for the highest scorers. Top performers are invited to the Beyond the Syllabus Psychology Summer School. The registration fee is £15. International students are welcome; students in China register separately through ASEEDER.
