About the Scholarship

Allegheny College adds up to $2,000 a year for talent in dance, film, music, studio art or theatre, on top of its Trustee Scholarship.

It is a small award but a reachable one, and the college classes it among the merit-based scholarships its international parity statement covers. Applicants choose a single discipline and submit either digitally or in person, followed by a faculty interview.

Renewal turns on staying involved rather than on grades: coursework in the discipline plus participation in events, productions or ensembles each year. Note the college has not yet posted deadlines for the coming cycle.
