Bowling Green State pays $4,000 a year to international first-year and transfer students who hold a 3.0 GPA, and renews it for four years while the GPA holds. It is automatic: applying to the university is the whole process.
Against the $23,500 in tuition and fees BGSU publishes for international undergraduates, this covers roughly a sixth. The university's own pages describe the award two ways, as a flat $4,000 on the international admissions page and as half the non-resident fee on the domestic financial aid page. The $4,000 figure is the one BGSU states for international students, so that is the figure here.
International students at BGSU also pay a non-refundable International Student Services Fee and orientation fee, and have to enrol in the university health insurance plan.
