Chatham University gives every admitted full-time undergraduate a merit scholarship, and the published band runs from $22,000 to $32,000 or more each year. Your figure is decided once you are admitted, based on your school record, so the scholarship arrives with the admission letter rather than through a second competition.
Chatham states plainly that it offers merit-based scholarships to incoming international undergraduates, awarded on acceptance. That matters because the other half of Chatham's aid, need-based grants and United States federal loans, is closed to international students. Plan on the merit award being the only institutional money in your offer.
Against 2026-2027 tuition of $45,700, a top award of $32,000 still leaves tuition, housing, meals and fees to cover, and Chatham asks international applicants to prove they can fund the first year before it issues an I-20. The award renews for up to four years (120 credits) provided you stay full-time and hold the minimum GPA.
For autumn entry Chatham recommends applying by 1 May, with 1 July as the final deadline.
