Everything else on Constructor's scholarship page reduces tuition. This one covers tuition and then pays for somewhere to live and something to eat, which makes it a different category of award from its neighbours.
The route in is through ALX rather than through Constructor. Eligibility runs to students who have completed the ALX Pathway Foundations or attended the African Leadership Academy, so the preparation happens well before the university application does.
Constructor publishes no figure for it and no selection criteria beyond those two routes, so what decides between qualifying candidates is not stated on the page.
Timing follows ALX's own rounds rather than a university deadline, and the Fall 2026 round has already closed. Anyone interested should be asking ALX when the next one opens rather than watching Constructor's dates.
