Lamar University pays $32,000 across four years on this band, $6,000 a year toward tuition and $2,000 a year toward on-campus accommodation.
The second automatic band. Note that Lamar's page contains a typo in the international bullet for this award, printing the ACT range as 25 to 18; the domestic bullet directly above reads 25 to 28, which is the range used here.
The route in is what makes Lamar unusual. Domestic applicants need both a grade average and a class rank, but the university lets international applicants qualify on a test score alone, which suits students whose schools issue no rank. The accommodation half is conditional on staying in the residence hall; move out and that portion stops.
