About the Scholarship

The Provost's Scholarship for Excellence pays international students at Oregon State University $6,000 a year for up to four years, $24,000 in total.

Entry needs a grade average of 3.5, an International Baccalaureate score of 30, or A-levels at two Bs and a C. Transfer students need 3.25 in university coursework. Renewal needs a 3.0 average.

It cannot be combined with the university's Regional Awards, which are worth more for students from most regions, so it matters chiefly for students whose region carries a smaller award.
