Portland State University awards new international undergraduates between $3,000 and $10,000 a year toward tuition, for students entering with a grade average of at least 3.25.
The money applies to academic class charges only. Consideration is automatic at admission, with no separate application.
First-year recipients can hold it for up to 12 terms and transfers for six, across the autumn, winter and spring terms but not summer.

An entering grade average of at least 3.25 on a four-point scale, classified as non-resident for tuition, and applying as a new student rather than a current one. Students sponsored by certain state or organisational bodies may be ineligible, and 12 credits a quarter are required.
