About the Scholarship

Rochester Institute of Technology awards merit scholarships of $14,000 to $30,000 a year to first-year students and $14,000 to $25,000 to transfers, applied to tuition and given regardless of financial need.

Every applicant is considered automatically. Academic achievement drives the award, with extra weight for leadership, service, entrepreneurship, citizenship or creativity. Art, design, film and photography applicants also submit a portfolio.

The award renews annually with full-time enrolment of 12 to 18 credits in required coursework.
