Rockhurst University hands out its freshman merit scholarships on a published GPA scale, and the Presidential Scholarship sits at the top of it. A 4.0 GPA brings $28,000 a year towards tuition, at the rate Rockhurst published for autumn 2026 to spring 2027.
There is nothing to apply for. Complete the admission application and the award arrives with the admission decision. Weighted GPAs count where your transcript shows them, and Rockhurst will still move you to a higher band on the strength of your first-semester senior year transcript.
International students can receive these awards. Rockhurst's international admission page puts the merit range for international undergraduates at $14,000 to $28,000 and confirms that state and federal aid stays closed to them. Budget for the gap: $28,000 covers part of tuition, and housing, fees and flights are yours to fund. Apply by 1 June for autumn entry.
Keeping the money means meeting Rockhurst's renewal requirements each year, and you cannot stack this with one of the competitive or academic scholarships.
