The Dean's Scholarship is the largest of the Rollins College academic scholarships awarded through ordinary admission, worth up to $33,000 a year.
It goes to first-time college applicants with a strong academic record and evidence of leadership. The published thresholds are an SAT above 1240 or an ACT above 26 with a GPA above 3.2, and a GPA above 3.9 for anyone applying without test scores.
Rollins confirms that international students are eligible for its academic scholarships, with awards ranging from $15,000 a year up to full tuition. Rollins is also one of the few American colleges that offers need-based aid to international applicants, so a Dean's Scholarship can sit alongside need-based support assessed from the International Student Financial Aid Application. Admission is need-aware for international students, so the family contribution forms part of the decision.
There is nothing extra to fill in. Apply for admission by 1 February as an international student and the award is decided with your admission decision. Keeping it needs a 3.0 GPA and 24 credit hours each year, for up to eight autumn and spring semesters.
