About the Scholarship

Rutgers–Camden’s International Chancellor’s Scholarship provides $16,000 a year to eligible self-paying international students. First-year applicants qualify with a weighted GPA of 2.8–3.19; transfers qualify with 2.5–2.99.

The separate International Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship covers the higher GPA bands with $18,000 and $21,000 awards. Neither requires a separate scholarship application. Applicants must meet admission requirements, enroll full time and maintain a 2.5 Rutgers–Camden GPA to renew.

$8,000 per semester for a $16,000 annual award.

Eligibility

Nonsponsored international F-1 students enrolling full time. First-year applicants need a weighted GPA of 2.8–3.19; transfers need 2.5–2.99. Renewal requires a 2.5 Rutgers–Camden GPA.

Eligible Countries

The university states these go to non-sponsored international F-1 visa students, meaning those not sponsored by a government agency who self-pay, who meet Rutgers University-Camden admission requirements. Government-sponsored students are excluded.
