The Dean's Honor Scholarship covers full tuition at Tulane and is guaranteed to match the full-time tuition cost each year, so it holds its value as tuition rises. It renews for four years, or five on the five-year professional Architecture track, with a cumulative grade average of at least 3.00.
Recipients are typically in the top five percent of their class with honours and advanced placement coursework. Tulane publishes the recent pattern as an ACT of 33 or above, an SAT of 1500 or above, or a core unweighted grade average of 3.7 or above, and says test scores are preferred for this particular award.
The application changed recently. Students from the high school class of 2026 onward no longer file a separate scholarship application, so the Common Application plus Tulane's financial aid steps puts you in the pool, with an optional supplement through the Green Wave Portal. For a non-US citizen those steps are the CSS Profile and Tulane's Declaration and Certification of Finances rather than the FAFSA.
The catch is stacking. The award cannot be held alongside another Tulane merit scholarship, an ROTC scholarship, a Faculty-Staff Tuition Waiver or a Tuition Exchange Scholarship. A partial athletic scholarship is allowed, and need-based aid remains possible on top.
