About the Scholarship

The University of Denver awards international first-year students $15,000 to $40,000 a year automatically, and adds $5,000 for applying early decision.

It is direct about the limits, stating it offers no need-based aid to international students and that none of its scholarships will cover the full cost with rare exceptions. Against a total cost of $91,526 the top award covers under half.

It is also need-aware, considering a family's ability to afford Denver when finalising admission decisions. Note its transfer merit band is conditioned on American aid forms international students cannot file, so treat the first-year figures as the ones that apply.
