The University of Hawaii at Manoa pays new international undergraduates $10,000 an academic year toward tuition and fees, split across the autumn and spring terms.
Applicants need a cumulative grade average of at least 3.0 and F-1 visa status, and must enter in the autumn. First-year recipients can hold it for up to four years with a 3.0 grade average and full-time enrolment.
It cannot be stacked with the resident tuition rate or with certain other university scholarships.
