The Flagship Leaders Commitment is the University of Maine's second international band, paying $9,000 to $12,000 a year.
Like its larger sibling it needs no separate application, and the early action date both maximises the award and can add a further $3,000.

The university states this programme provides admissions-based scholarships to high-achieving international students.
No separate application. Applicants are considered automatically on admission. Applying by the early action date carries the maximum award and may add a further $3,000 early action award; regular decision closes 1 March, with a final date of 15 July for applicants outside the United States and Canada.
