Ole Miss adds $8,000, paid at $2,000 a year, for international students entering one of 22 named STEM degrees with a 3.5 grade average and an SAT of 1300.
The award offsets the non-resident fee, which normally signals a domestic-only award. Here it does not: the university states international students are charged the out-of-state rate, so the fee is one they genuinely pay.
Its eligibility rests on the page it sits on rather than a sentence naming it, which makes the evidence weaker than for the university's main international awards.
