About the Scholarship

The University of Missouri pays international students $21,500 a year on this award, applied to the non-resident portion of tuition.

This is the largest international award the university publishes, and it turns on family as much as merit: a parent must have graduated from Missouri.

Non-Missouri tuition and fees run between $39,688 and $43,816 a year, and the university's awards generally cannot be combined, so plan around one of them rather than a stack.

What It Covers

  • Tuition

$21,500 a year. Applies only to the non-resident portion of tuition fees. Renewal needs full-time enrolment of at least 12 credit hours, continuous autumn and spring enrolment and satisfactory academic progress, for a maximum of eight continuous semesters, and it is not paid in summer. Unless stated otherwise the university's scholarships cannot be combined. Figures are its published 2027 to 2028 amounts.

Eligibility

An SAT of 1260 or an ACT of 27, together with a biological, adoptive or stepparent who graduated from the university. Renewal needs a cumulative grade average of 2.50.

Eligible Countries

The university states it offers scholarships for international students who are considered on applying, and that only degree-seeking international students admitted for on-campus study are considered.
