About the Scholarship

The University of Missouri pays international students $1,000 a year on this award, applied to the non-resident portion of tuition.

Unusually among the university's awards, this one can be combined with others. Phi Theta Kappa is an honour society for American two-year colleges, so it reaches international students already at a community college in the United States.

Non-Missouri tuition and fees run between $39,688 and $43,816 a year, and the university's awards generally cannot be combined, so plan around one of them rather than a stack.
