The Ingram Scholars Program pays full tuition at Vanderbilt, all required fees and the value of on-campus housing each year, and adds a stipend for a summer service project. Scholars whose financial need runs beyond the value of full tuition receive additional need-based aid from the university.
It is built for students who plan to combine a business or professional career with a lifelong commitment to community work. The service load is substantial: roughly twenty hours a month during term, one summer service project after the second year, and weekly group meetings to review progress. Renewal runs to the senior year on a 3.0 minimum GPA and the service commitments.
International applicants qualify. Vanderbilt's scholarships FAQ states that international applicants are eligible to receive any of its merit scholarships, and need is not a factor in the award.
There is a separate application through MyAppVU after the admission application, due 1 December 2026 for students entering in autumn 2027. Finalists interview with the selection committee. Students already in their first year at Vanderbilt can apply by 28 February 2027 for the following year.
