About the Scholarship

Wesleyan College's CEO scholarship pays $20,000 a year, and the college does something unusually helpful: it publishes the arithmetic, showing international tuition and fees of $33,880 falling to $13,880.

The entry criteria are written for international curricula rather than translated from American ones. A predicted IB of 34, an A average at A Level, or 90 per cent across Class XII in CBSE or ISC each qualify on their own, and the college says other curricula are assessed on request. The interview is held virtually from anywhere.

It is a women's college, so this is open to women only, and the award replaces the college's entrance scholarships rather than adding to them.

The college works the arithmetic through: against annual tuition and international fees of $33,880, that leaves $13,880 a year in tuition, excluding housing and meals. It replaces rather than stacks with the college's entrance scholarships, and only one application-based scholarship is held.

Eligibility

Meeting any one of: a weighted American grade average of 3.5 at application; a predicted IB score of 34 including bonus points; an average or predicted A across A Levels or AS Levels; or an average or predicted 90 per cent across all Class XII subjects in CBSE or ISC. Other curricula are assessed on request. Wesleyan College is a women's college, chartered to grant degrees to women, so every award here is open to women only. Renewal needs the stated criteria and participation in the college's two-semester leadership institute in the first year.

How to Apply

Apply and be admitted first, then the scholarship portal opens. Shortlisted candidates are interviewed virtually, which the college states can be done from anywhere in the United States or abroad. International students are not required or eligible to file the American federal aid form. The enrolment deposit is $1,000 for international students.
