Overview of HARVARD MODEL UNITED NATIONS AUSTRALIA

Harvard Model United Nations Australia is a four-day international relations simulation for high school students held in Sydney, Australia. Building on the legacy of HMUN in Boston, the program allows delegates to assume roles of world leaders and international decision-makers to debate pressing global issues and develop solutions. It aims to foster dialogue on complex issues and help participants develop skills in public speaking, negotiation, teamwork, leadership, and policy crafting.

💸 Costs & Aid

  • Fees vary based on registration deadline (Early Bird I, Early Bird II, Regular, Late) and group size (1-3 delegates vs. 4+ delegates). Individual delegate fees range from AUD$340 to AUD$550, and group delegate fees range from AUD$290 to AUD$500. There is also a separate fee of AUD$300 per faculty advisor. An additional fee applies for late submission of delegate names and liability waivers. No refunds are provided.

Application Process

Submit payment via Typeform, then complete an application on MUNBase. After acceptance and full payment, fill out the Delegation Portal on Qualtrics to submit liability waivers and preferences.
