The Harvard Model United Nations China (HMUN China) is an annual conference taking place in Guangzhou, China. The 2026 conference (sixteenth session) runs August 15–18, 2026. It aims to encourage high school students globally to engage in meaningful debate on current and emerging issues, fostering creative and collaborative solutions. The program welcomes delegates from various countries and provides a supportive environment, especially for those new to Model UN or English-speaking conferences.

About the Program
Eligibility
Students are recommended to be accompanied by a faculty advisor. Teachers, university students, parents, administrators, and other adults 18 years of age or older are eligible to serve as faculty advisors. Any individual who is eligible to participate at HMUN China as a delegate is ineligible to serve as a faculty advisor. Applicants must be 13 years of age or older. Enrolled in 7th - 12th grade during the time of the conference. College students are not eligible to apply as a delegate.

Applications are released through an application portal. Registration opens March 5, 2026. Early Registration Deadline: May 1, 2026. General Registration Deadline: July 15, 2026. Late Registration Deadline: August 5, 2026. A separate financial aid application is available.
