Summer Science Program is one of the oldest residential STEM education programs in the nation offering high school juniors hands-on research experience in astrophysics, biochemistry, bacterial genomics, synthetic chemistry, and cell biology. As a participant, you get to spend five weeks on the campus of a renowned research university, immersing yourself in collaborative science research, using professional research equipment, conducting experiments, learning from world-class scientists, making friends for life, and sharing your real-world findings.

How to Apply
Application is free. Each application is read and carefully considered by an admissions committee of staff, volunteer alumni, and former faculty. Applications are evaluated holistically and in context, taking into account motivation, resources, and obstacles overcome. Required application pieces are displayed in a checklist in the application portal.
