Overview of Yale International Relations Leadership Institute (YIRLI)
The Yale International Relations Leadership Institute (YIRLI) is an intensive, exhilarating summer institute. Students from around the world explore international relations, enhance leadership and public speaking skills, and engage with pressing global issues through an entrepreneurial lens. The program includes Model United Nations and debating workshops led by Yale students, opportunities to learn from Yale professors and visiting speakers, and participation in the YIRLI Global Impact Challenge related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

- Includes housing, meals, and full YIRLI programming. A $20 application fee is also required.

YIRLI seeks students passionate about the world, who want to use their voice to impact it, and are eager to reach their highest potential as students, scholars, and leaders.

The application consists of four parts: Background Information, Short Answers, Essay Questions, and a Video Interview.
