Overview of Yale Model United Nations Conference

Yale Model United Nations (YMUN) is an annual conference held on Yale's campus in New Haven, CT. The 52nd iteration will take place from January 15th to January 18th, 2026. The conference brings together nearly 1800 high school students to discuss pressing global issues in committees, offering an enriching MUN experience. The conference includes a "Yale Day" to provide participants with a glimpse into student life at Yale.

  • Yale Model United Nations offers a financial aid program including Fee Waivers that waive the $90/delegate and $70/advisor conference fee. Additional scholarships, such as the Breaking Boundaries scholarship for first-time US delegations and other scholarships for all domestic and international delegations, are available to help with travel and lodging costs.

Application Process

To apply for financial aid, first create an account on the YMUN LII registration platform (registration.ymun.org). Once registered, access the Financial Aid tab or use the provided link to the application form.
