About the Scholarship

DePaul considers every international first-year applicant for $12,000 to $32,000 a year, decided on the secondary school record with no separate application.

The top of that range is among the larger automatic awards in this directory, and it renews for four years on good standing rather than a numeric grade threshold.

Be clear about what is not on offer. DePaul states plainly that it offers no need-based scholarships to international students, so this award and its transfer counterpart are the whole picture.

What It Covers

  • Tuition

$12,000 to $32,000 a year, renewable for up to four consecutive years or twelve quarters. Renewal needs good academic standing, full-time enrolment each quarter and at least 36 quarter hours across autumn, winter and spring.

Eligibility

Entry as an international first-year student, assessed on the secondary school grade average. The university publishes no grade or test threshold for the award itself; admission requires a TOEFL of 80, an IELTS of 6.5, a Duolingo of 115 or a PTE of 53.

Eligible Countries

The university states all international students are automatically considered for this merit-based award when they apply, and that it offers no need-based scholarships to international students.
