The Faber Award is the one Fordham award written specifically for students on a non-immigrant visa. It is need-based, and the published range runs from a few thousand dollars up to the cost of first-year full tuition.
There is a hard floor on family contribution. Fordham asks the CSS Profile formula to show at least $50,000 a year towards the cost of attendance before an international applicant qualifies, and it states plainly that it is need-sensitive, so a large need can weigh against your admission. About 7 percent of international aid applicants receive an award.
The paperwork is the work here. Answer yes to the aid question on the Common Application, file the CSS Profile under code 2259, and have each biological parent complete one. Miss the date for your admission plan and your file is read for admission only.
Loans and work-study are not part of the package, and awards are set for all four years at the initial amount, so build in annual cost rises of 3 to 5 percent.
