About the Scholarship

The Jogues Scholarship is a first-year award of $1,000 to $10,000 a year towards tuition, given to applicants with solid academic records and leadership who fall outside Fordham's larger merit bands.

There is no separate application. The scholarship committee works from your admission file and the amount appears in the admission letter.

The figure is fixed for up to four years, so expect the same dollar amount each year while tuition rises. Budget for the gap, including fees, housing, meals and health insurance.

What It Covers

  • Tuition

An annual award applied towards tuition charges for courses taken as a traditional undergraduate at Fordham. Housing, meals, fees and insurance are not covered.

Eligibility

Entering traditional first-year students who show high academic performance and leadership ability and who have not been offered one of Fordham's larger scholarships. Renewal needs full-time status, satisfactory academic progress, a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and compliance with university policies and the Code of Conduct.

How to Apply

Your application for admission is the scholarship application. All complete admission applications are considered automatically, no extra forms or essays are needed, and the award is named inside the online admission letter. Fordham is test optional, so scores are optional for scholarship consideration.
