About the Scholarship

PLU adds $1,000 a year for students who come to an official Admission-sponsored visit on its Tacoma campus. The university lists it among the stackable awards that international students can receive.

There is no form and no essay. PLU records your visit and applies the money automatically.

The practical question is the airfare. A trip from abroad to Washington State costs far more than $1,000, so this award makes sense for students already travelling to the Pacific Northwest, or already studying inside the United States.
