The Chancellor's Scholarship is the band of the University of New Hampshire's merit table covering a recalculated grade average of 3.90 to 4.00, worth up to $15,000 a year to an international student.
International applicants sit in the non-resident column by definition, because citizenship supersedes residency at the university, and no federal aid form is involved. The award is made automatically with the admission decision, and a student can hold only one merit award a year.
Two things to watch. The university recalculates every applicant's grade average on its own weighted scale from core academic subjects, so your own transcript average will not map cleanly onto these bands. And every figure is published as a ceiling, so treat it as the most the band can pay rather than a guaranteed amount.
