About the Scholarship

The Warrior Award pays $6,500 a year for four years to incoming first-year students at Wayne State University, based on grade average and test scores.

Citizenship is not a barrier. The university states plainly that US citizenship is not required for admission and that all incoming students are considered automatically, which makes this one of the more accessible awards for international applicants at a public US university.

A parallel Warrior Transfer Award pays $6,000 a year for transfer students with at least 30 credits and a 3.25 grade average.
