Minerva’s university program combines

Pragmatic Liberal Arts

Applied knowledge is at the core of Minerva’s curriculum. Every class is a small seminar centered on intensive discussion and debate. Minerva students develop critical and creative thinking skills through active learning, not memorization and lectures. Students can choose from the following majors: Business, Computational Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Arts and Humanities, as well as combine multiple concentrations.

Real-world Experience

Every student receives life-long career support. We work to help students define their passions, curate networks for internships and jobs, and build career skills to excel in the professional world. Students have interned at companies such as Accenture, Apple, Amazon, CNN Global, Google, Mistletoe, United Nations, Siemens, Twitter, and many more.

Global Understanding

Living in seven cities across the world (San Francisco, Seoul, Hyderabad, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, and Taipei), Minerva students do not merely study diverse cultures, they experience them firsthand, living in up to seven uniquely significant cities around the world during their four years. Learning transcends the classroom, as with each new location, curated partnerships give students first-hand experience applying the concepts they learn in class to a variety of real world contexts and situations.

Accessibility

Our application is completely free and does not require standardized test results to enable anyone who is interested with the opportunity to apply.

Minerva University's Five Facts

Dreaming of a truly world-class education? Every student at our university lives, thrives, and studies in 7 dynamic global cities throughout their undergraduate experience: San Francisco, Seoul, Hyderabad, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, and Taipei. Students spend their first year in San Francisco and then travel to a different rotation city every semester thereafter.

Looking for a student-centric and hands-on learning environment? Our classes are capped at a maximum of 21 students, so you’ll always receive comprehensive support and feedback from professors who know you for you.

Discover the life you want to create –– and build it before you graduate. We connect students with internships at the world’s best-known corporations, research institutions, and NGOs in sectors from technology and finance to science and social impact. 95% of our graduates held at least one internship prior to graduation.

Community and diversity are at the heart of our university where there is no single national, ethnic, or cultural group in the majority. Our students represent 100+ different countries, and they create and participate in unique community traditions such as bread-breaking at the annual Friendsgiving Feast, weekly storytelling gatherings, and flower-crown creation at "Quinquatria" - a yearly celebration of individual and collective success!

Our extracurricular activities are global. Throughout your four years, you’ll be encouraged to participate in Student Initiatives such as: Hackathons in the tech hub of San Francisco, soccer in Messi’s home country of Argentina, podcasting in the historical hub of Berlin, exploring water and sustainability initiatives in Taipei, and competing in British parliamentary-style debate competitions in Hyderabad. No matter your interests, you’ll be able to take them with you and grow your passions around the world.
