FT Student Advocate Programme

About the Program

Advocates explore how peers use journalism, create content, organise current-affairs discussions, and attend careers webinars. International groups receive university-student mentorship through monthly calls and Slack. The role is unpaid; participation fees are not stated. References are available on request for actively engaged students.

The page describes four months of participation spanning October to February. Its detailed nomination instructions allow up to three nominees per school, although an introductory FAQ mentions two opportunities.

Source verified October 26, 2026: official programme page, FAQs, and guidelines.
