Harvard Summer School's Secondary School Program (SSP) is a selective credit-bearing summer program for motivated high school students ready for rigorous college-level coursework. Students choose between a 4-week or 7-week session and enroll in one or two 4-credit Harvard courses taught by Harvard faculty.
Program options:
- 7-week online or commuting: $4,180 (4 credits) or $8,160 (8 credits)
- 4-week residential: $9,100 (4 credits)
- 7-week residential: $15,735 (8 credits)
All options include a $75 non-refundable application fee. Financial aid is available for US citizens and permanent residents. International students are welcome across all formats; visa sponsorship (I-20) is available for residential and commuting options.
Over 200 courses are offered spanning biology, psychology, law, sociology, entrepreneurship, mathematics, computer science, and the humanities. Upon completion, students receive a letter grade and can request a Harvard transcript.
