About the Program

The World Series of Innovation (WSI) is a free global innovation competition hosted by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), open to young people worldwide. Participants develop entrepreneurial solutions to real-world challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The competition runs two tracks: the Impact League for ages 13–24 (focused on design thinking and entrepreneurial mindset) and the Imagination League for ages 5–12 (focused on creative problem-solving and opportunity recognition).

Challenges are released on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. Participants submit their solutions via the WSI platform at wsi.awardsplatform.com. The 2025–26 cycle concluded with winners announced April 21, 2026; new challenges for the 2026–27 cycle launch September 9, 2026.

Eligibility

Open to participants worldwide. Impact League is for ages 13–24. Imagination League is for ages 5–12. Participation is free. Teams or individuals may enter via the WSI platform at wsi.awardsplatform.com.
