ThinkNeuro Virtual Research Internship

About the Program

ThinkNeuro is a 10-week virtual research internship program for high school, undergraduate, and post-baccalaureate students in neuroscience, computer science/software engineering, or business data analytics. No prior research experience is required.

Program structure:

  • Weekly live lectures and guided research modules
  • Team-based original research project (research poster or software project)
  • Presentation at the ThinkNeuro Research Symposium, judged by representatives from Harvard and OpenAI
  • Opportunities to present at national conferences (past students have presented at Columbia, Stanford, Brown, and others)

Tracks available:

  • Neuroscience Bibliometrics
  • Computer Science & Software Engineering
  • Business Data Analytics

Time commitment: 5-10 hours per week (intensive track)

Cohorts: Fall and Spring; applications are rolling. International students are welcome, though some scheduling conflicts with US time zones may arise.

Alumni outcomes include 100+ Ivy League and Top 20 university acceptances in 2026, and scholarship awards ranging from $5,500 to $250,000+.

Eligibility

Open to high school, undergraduate, and post-baccalaureate students worldwide; no prior research experience required; international students welcome though US time zone scheduling may apply; 5-10 hours per week commitment
