About the Program

UBC Future Global Leaders is a two-week pre-university summer program held on the University of British Columbia's Vancouver campus. Students ages 15–18 from around the world take courses alongside peers from diverse backgrounds, with both commuter and residential options available.

2026 sessions:

  • Session 1: July 6–17
  • Session 2: July 20–31
  • Session 3: August 3–14

Course areas: Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Data Science, Marine Science, Media & Fine Arts, History, Law, Politics, and Psychology — offered as standalone courses or immersive "mini schools."

Fees (2026):

A CAD $500 deposit is required at registration (full payment required if registering after May 1, 2026). Local medical insurance is included for international students who choose residence.

Financial aid: The UBC President Bursary is available for British Columbia grade 11 students who demonstrate financial need.
