The Trustee Scholarship is the second of the two academic merit tiers at DeSales University, worth US$24,000 to US$26,000 a year. Students who are strong but just below the Presidential band tend to land here. Both tiers are decided on grade point average and test scores where provided.
International students can qualify. DeSales says so plainly on its undergraduate admissions page, and it is the reason these two merit tiers matter so much for an applicant on an F-1 visa: federal and state aid is unavailable, so institutional merit money is the lever.
The award pays towards tuition for up to eight full-time semesters in the traditional day programme, and renews while you keep satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrolment. Housing, food and fees are not part of it, and DeSales still requires a statement of finances covering a full year of costs before issuing immigration paperwork.
Nothing separate to submit. Get the admission application in by 1 December of your final school year for priority consideration, and the scholarship decision comes with your admission offer.
