East Tennessee State University lets new out-of-state students in computing, geosciences, mathematics or physics pay in-state tuition and fees, and names international students as eligible.
The university publishes no dollar figure, so the value is the gap between the out-of-state and in-state rates. It runs for eight semesters, excluding summers.
First-year applicants need a grade average above 3.2 with an ACT mathematics score above 25, and transfers need a college average above 3.0. A separate departmental application is due by 1 March.
