Georgia Southern University waives the out-of-country fee for selected international students, a saving the university puts at roughly $13,000 a year and $52,000 across a degree. With the waiver, it says tuition and fees come to about $3,700 a semester.
This is one of the few American university awards that weighs financial need alongside grades and asks for an essay rather than handing the award out automatically. The essay includes a question about how you intend to use the education after returning to your home country.
Two limits worth knowing: it is for autumn entry only, not spring or summer, and students already enrolled cannot apply. The application form is still headed with the previous cycle's year, so confirm the current dates before relying on them.
